There are roofing companies that claim to cover the whole of Hampshire from a call centre and sub out the actual work. That isn't us. We're a family-run firm with a yard in Drayton, Portsmouth, and our working patch is the area we can be on a roof from within an hour — South Hampshire and the immediate fringes of West Sussex.

That's a real coverage area: Portsmouth (PO1–PO6), Fareham and Whiteley (PO14–PO16), Havant and Emsworth (PO9–PO10), Gosport and Lee-on-the-Solent (PO12–PO13), Waterlooville and the villages (PO7–PO8), Hayling Island (PO11), and across the border into Chichester (PO18–PO20) and Petersfield. Hampshire's housing stock is older and more varied than people give it credit for. Victorian and Edwardian terrace through Portsmouth and Southsea. 1930s and 1950s semi across Cosham, Fareham, Havant and Gosport. Vast estate housing — Leigh Park in Havant, the post-war Bridgemary phases in Gosport — most of it now needing first-cycle re-roofs. Modern new-build at Whiteley, Welborne and around Daedalus. Period and conservation-area property in Wickham, Titchfield, Bosham and central Chichester. We work all of it, and we specify materials properly for each one.

The coast matters. South-westerly weather hits the Solent shoreline — Stokes Bay, Lee-on-the-Solent, Hayling Island, the Southsea seafront — with very little to slow it down. Lead corrodes faster, mortar weathers faster, ridge cement loses grip faster. Coastal-grade specifications (code 4 lead minimum, dry-fix ridges, marine-grade fixings) are our default on anything within sight of water.
